CLIMATE CHANGE

Climate Change – Political Pop Art by Raymond

Description & Inspiration

„Climate Change“ is a bold acrylic pouring & mixed media artwork that transforms the urgent crisis of our planet into a striking visual narrative. The chaotic collage of cartoon icons, political figures, and symbolic imagery represents the tension between human consumerism, environmental destruction, and the fight for Earth’s survival.

From the Statue of Liberty with a burning torch, to Donald Duck screaming next to a ticking time bomb, the painting illustrates the absurdity of our denial, while reminding us that time is running out.

Technique & Materials

The composition combines acrylic pouring, pop-art elements, and graffiti-style graphics. Explosive colors – from fiery reds to deep blues – echo natural forces like water, fire, and storms, while layered symbols (skulls, slogans, clocks, and cartoon characters) create a dense, provocative surface.

Impact & Meaning

„Climate Change“ is not just a painting – it is a visual protest. It invites the viewer to confront reality: rising seas, melting ice, collapsing ecosystems, and the ticking clock of human responsibility. At the same time, it uses satire and humor to spark dialogue, proving that art can be both a mirror and a weapon.
